We're not aware of any other island in the world like this one, the Dubai Palm Tree Island.
It was created, not naturally, but by engineers and construction workers. They designed this island, officially named Jumeirah, to form the shape of a palm tree, sitting atop the waters of Persian Gulf.
Something exclusive and unique that they hoped would attract tourists to a place where they could luxuriate in every way. For the rich & famous, or even for family fun vacations.
This island has palm frond roadways, where the homes were built. Each having waterside access. But there's also a purpose-made ring around the central palm tree. People living there can get to downtown Dubai in about 20 minutes.
Four more Dubai palm tree islands are partially completed and/or in planning stages:
Dubai is a desert city, in the United Arab Emirates. In a way, it's a tropical place to visit. Yet really it's in a Desert Climate With Palms. As are all these man-made palmy islands.
Why not take a Virtual Trip to the Completed Palm Tree Island? You'll discover a place that's unique in the world, a stunning vacation destination.
It's also an island beckoning you to purchase a home or try a rental. To do one of them, your monthly salary should be at least $5,000 (in USD or US Dollars) a month. (But more comfortably/luxuriously at about USD-$45,000!)
Can you, or do you want to even consider making this your dream? I don't think we will! 😮 But it is fun to dream! 🌴
Discover the Ins & Outs of the Dubai Palm Tree Island to see if you might want to at least sample it there, for planning a vacation! Or even a long-term stay. If you like unique places - this is certainly one of them!
